A diver-style watch that does not pretend to be more than it is. A 40mm steel case, a numberless dial, and luminous hands that stay readable in the dark.
The crystal is sapphire with anti-reflective coating — the same material used on watches costing several times as much. It resists scratches and cuts glare. The movement is mechanical: it winds itself from the motion of your wrist, and you can wind it by hand if you leave it off for a few days.
About the water rating, honestly. The manufacturer rates it 10 ATM. That is 100 metres, not 200. Showering, swimming and snorkelling are fine. We hold no diving certification for it, so we are not going to call it a professional dive watch. It looks like one and it is solidly built. That is where our claim stops.
At 12mm thick and 40mm across, it sits comfortably on most wrists, including narrow ones.
